Hmmm.... nothin to do!

so, when i went to see Dr. Cooley, he said everything was good....

well im basically really bored now... nothing to do!

i think im going to be the basketball manager, so that will be fun!

on tuesday im going to start working at gymnastics! that will get me some $$$!

i can ride my bike and swim, so i do that a couple of times a week!

o! and my bruise on the back of my leg is STILL there, but now it looks like a normal bruise! but it's been 6 1/2 weeks!!

PROGRESS!!! yay!

so tomorrow i go to Dr. Cooley in Park City...

@ 4-8 weeks, you're supposed to be able to bend your knee at about 135 degrees...

BUT right now im at about 5 weeks and i got 140!!! so im pretty happy!

i hope tomorrow the Dr. will tell me that i can take my brace off! that would be nice!!

Therapy Progress!!!

so last week I went to physical therapy and didnt do too well... i could bend my knee to about 120 degrees all three days... never to much improvment. BUT today when i went i had a different therapyst and i got 130! that's huge!!! Dr. Cooley likes to push being at 135 at 6 weeks. im at 4 now... so as long as i can get 5 more degrees in 2 weeks ill be good!!

o, and i also passed my driving test, so i now have my permit... fun fun!

Birthday

so yesterday i had my birthday party! it was pretty fun! i had about 5 friends come over. we had sishkabobs, chocolate fondue, and cake and ice cream. we mostly just played cards, and watched Bedtime Stories. Im getting an iPod touch for my birthday from my parents, but i wont get it for a while because it has to ship it here... but overall, my birthday was really good!!!!

k, so my left leg and left foot are suffering from serious peeling. it's quite disgusting! almost all my skin on them is coming off!!! it looks terrible! but the pictures don't show it very well. so the picture where it's all bruised is the back part of my leg where you bend it. Then i have a pic of my stitches and incisions

Physical Therapy

So... today i went and saw Dr. Young. He gave me some new pain killers, because the other ones were making me nauseated and have headaches.

Then I went to school, that was okay... not as bad as I thought it would be. Except random people would point at me, and some dumb kid I don't even know told me that I was faking.

Then I went to Physical Therapy. yay. It... hurt, I guess. But Mark (my therapist) said that I did really really well for my first day! and since then, I've been able to kinda walk! so that's good! I have go to physical therapy 3 times a week, so that will be... fun?

I'll put some pics of my knee on here soon! some of them will be quite gross.

ACL update

so i got back home from surgery today at 4 o clock. everything went well. im pretty drowsy. but okay! i probably wont go back to school till wednesday. mostly cuz i have to have my knee fully extended till i go see the Dr. and i dont see till wed. and i cnat go to school with a straight leg, how will i sit in class? plus im not sure if i will have to still have my wrap and parce on. my leg is like 4-6 inches in diameter! ill have to wear some shorts to school. ugh! im gonna look so dumb!
